Programs

Delta Sigma Theta programs are based on a Five-Point Programmatic Thrust. Economic Development, Educational Development, International Awareness & Involvement, Physical & Mental Health, and Political Awareness & Involvement are the points that serves as the foundation for which all local programming is based upon. Killeen Alumnae Chapter implements these programs in a variety of ways.

Economic Development

Holiday Food Baskets are provided to needy families and elderly citizens during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. KAC also coordinates with West Ward Elementary School in collecting school supplies for children in need. The holiday Food Baskets and the School Supply Drive are some of the chapter’s most popular projects.

Adopt-A-Park is another program of the chapter. The chapter works with Killeen Parks and Recreation. The project not only serves to beautify the city but helps to project the image of the sorority within the community. Camacho Park is the chapter’s adopted park.
